putting on my sway bar on soon... where to weld the mount?

putting on my sway bar on soon... where to weld the mount?

I know, i know, search the forum, but
does anybody got any good pix
of the mount i need to weld?
couldn't find any good ones

there ya go.. look at "RSB mount x.jpg" files.

basically reinforce the "L" brackets on the frame of the car, and strengthen the other end of the endlinks by welding around them too.

one more hint... when you bolt the endlinks onto the sway bar, make sure they're straight.. i.e. perpendicular to the bar, so the joint isn't stressed much.. if it's crooked, the end where it attaches to the sway bar will break in no time.

I looked at those and it did not show me where to put the L-Brackets. I should move them away from the stock bracket position if I cannot position the endlink striaght up and down, correct?

From the looks of your pic I think all you need to do is go to a muffler shop and get them to cut off the old bracket and weld on a heavier L-bracket in the same spot.
By "perpendicular to the bar" Matt means just slide the mount along the length of the bar until it's hanging straight up and down when you view it from the rear of the car.

Okay, so it should say left to right, instead of up and down, right?
