How will I know 100% that the axle pushed into tranny all the way? this is driver side ve auto btw. Im pushing and pushing, it wont go in any further, so I tried to pull on it and it seems solid in its spot, no play at all. Is it in?

How much space is in between the trans casing and axle end?(big round part on axle)

awesome thanks for the confirmation. It was clicking and making noise when i turned. gonna test drive it tomorrow. and then tackle the other control arm.
