Dash Lights Intermittent

Wow it seems like every thread that I have looked at in the last three or four weeks my car has had this problem. I cant remember who it was talking about how to repair this but i need some help. The lights were slow to come on and then the next day no problem. The day after that they started to flicker on and off and then totally dead. Someone please help!

Replace or repair your headlight/turn signal switch.

When they're not on, you have no tail lights, keep that in mind.

Never done this before. I am guessing that this is going to be a steering wheel removal to replace this unit. Any guidance?

Under the steering collumn cover, there are 7 or so screws (I found some were missing in mine from previous ownership), then the top half and bottom half just pry apart. Its actually pretty easy - I was expecting Hell when I went to do my blue ignition barrell light, took me 5 minutes in and out.

Hi, there is a light around my ignition switch that seems to stay lit up at night. Once I leave the car, and lock the doors, seems like the light around the ignition switch just stays on. Is this normal, Or do I have some type of Issue?

Well the driver side door seems as if there is a shortage in it. When I close the door sometimes the interior door lights stay on, and I have to hit or push the door for them to go off. I will try to pull the panel off today and see whats going on in there, because my keyless entry stopped working also.

Stop jacking everyone's threads with your problems! Either start your own thread, or post in the noobie thread..

IIRC it stays on for a few minutes after a door is opened

you do not have to remove the steering wheel. just the shroud around the steering shaft.
