I was wondering if any 3rd generation maxima came with 6 by 5in speakers in the front doors??? I saw a guy install some in his GXE.

 

fronts in gxe non-bose are 4x6. all se has bose of course, but some gxe did too.

 

anybody fit 6.5's in the front? how hard was it?

 

All you have to do is build some adapter mounts/brackets to fit them. You can even hack up your Bose unit and screw a 6.5" into that if you want. Or I make/sell 6.5" speaker mounts when I'm feeling spry and have the time for it
