sure.
you just have to block off the other side, so no exhaust gets out, routing it all to the turbo mani.

custom manifold and injectors alone will run you over 1k bud... how about use that 1k for a fresher non rusted out shell .... maybe with some spare coin to get a couple upgrades...you will run out of money 10 times before you will ever complete a "cheap" turbo kit so forget about it....

Right with the e36. It looks like they threw mesh on everything that even remotely resembled an opening and called the whole thing custom.

I've found forums to be very un-helpful when you start threads like this.

If you want to go about turboing your car for cheap, you are gonna need to supply the knowledge. So start reading (don't ask people for answers, go find them yourself), then look through the forum's FI section at people who have done it before, see what they've had to do. Learn what the limitations of the platform are, get an idea of what major hassles you will have. Then find someone with the mechanical know-how to do the custom fab work.

Then, when you have gone that far and put in the effort, you can come on here and get advice with the specific problems you are having.

This fuuckin' kid has been talkin' crap 4 months bout he's gonna do this and he's gonna do that, meanwhile he possesses almost no knowledge mechanically speaking. Basically he's talkin' shyt cause he ain't gonna turbo shyt, that's why I'm saying just fuuckin' do it and show us what you've done and if while your installing u run into problems like u stated, then u can ask 4 help, otherwise he's wasting everybodies fuuckin' time!!!!

I don't know the backstory as i'm new to this forum, but I have to agree based on his line of questions. The best approach is an active one, start trying to figure it out yourself and then get help. Don't ask people to do it for you, it never works well.

i know its not the lowest but everyone was saying even with Tokico or Koni struts, a 2" drop isnt doable because the balljoint would have to be moved 2" and it would ride like crap and i got it done with KYB GR2 struts and its fine

how in the world are you going to run any psi of boost without bigger injectors and a ecu?? Just stop man you in no position to be turboing anything... Having a Turbo'd daily driver is HARD pal its constand maintinance and steady money being spent you will never make it with a rigged up shotty turbo kit ad a daily driver....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_%28Internet%29
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[2] In addition to the offending poster, the noun troll can also refer to the provocative message itself, as in "that was an excellent troll you posted". While the term troll and its associated action trolling are primarily associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels highly subjective, with trolling being used to describe intentionally provocative actions outside of an online context. For example, recent media accounts have used the term troll to describe "a person who defaces internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families."[3][4]

Okay, enough is enough.

Grow up. when you realize you're:
1. polishing a turd
2. trolling
3. dreaming WAY too big
4. broke as a joke and driving a 20 yr old POS

then come back and ask legitimate questions. until then, stop creating threads like this.
you can't do anything "cool' to your car for under $1000. you can do a half-*** unreliable turbo setup which is just going to blow up your engine because you're too damn stupid to know what you're doing. Then when you blow it up you're going to come back here whining and asking how to fix a hole in your block for $5 cause that's all you've got left.

just stop. come back in about 4 years when you've grown up a little.
