vg tensioner pulley

Quick question. I took a ceased tensioner pulley out of a 94 with a vg motor. Who knows if there is suppose to be a washer behind the pulley between the bearings and the bracket?

Cmax03 might/should know. One o the reasons why he had to rebuild his top end was because that bolt snapped.

You know now that I reread his situation I realize he was talking about the belts and not the timing belt tensioner. There is a kind of cup shaped washer that fit over the raised section of the pulley (where the bearing is exposed. Thats where it goes. There is also one on the front for the bolt.

There's a large washer behind the pulley as well to give it clearance off the support....
