Attn Dan!!!!!!!!!
JWT ECU
Yes, I have had had it for 18 months now. It was instant power, especially in the higher rpms.I really notice it from 5000 RPM and up to redline and beyond. I try not to go over 6500 rpm. Some people have asked me if it was worth the $500? I think so. It is not as noticable as the y-pipe/CAI mod. If you going to buy one, get the CAI and Y first. I asked them to customize mine because here in MN we don't have emisson testing. Not sure if they did. Personally I rate it as #3 in power/performance gained behind before mentioned mods.Maybe a group but will get the price down a little.Hope this helps.

You really thought
that the Y-pipe and CAI were better than the ECU?
I got the ECU as the last bolt on for my car, and I felt that it made about as much difference as all the intake/exhaust (cai, Y, RT cat, catback) mods put together. My ranking of mods would go as follows:
1. ECU ($550)
2. Y-pipe ($350)
3. CAI ($200) (better than UDP only when combined with Y-pipe/exhaust)
4. UDP ($125)
5. Catback ($300)
6. RT cat ($200)
Bang for the buck I would say is a tie between the Y-pipe and the ECU, but I did notice better gains all across the powerband with the ECU.

But the thing is, you need to make the ECU your last engine mod... When you order it, you tell them what mods you've got, and they supposedly program it based on those mods, so that it'll run better than a "general performance program"
each reprogram is $100, so you don't want to do that half a dozen times.

Most have said no. Dyno #'s would be nice tho. Anyone have JET dyno #'s?

You can, but do you get the same gains?

I remember him... he was talking about the Superchips crap or something. 12hp? Is that reasonable? Could you really get 12hp from any chip?
