Light blue smoke/acting odd?

Hello,
I have a 1992 Nissan Maxima (SE?).

Its been running fine, besides the slipping transmission. Which is planned to get fixed soon.

All was well until a couple days ago when it was acting funny. The car was "shaking" more than usual. Like a rock ROCK rock ROCK rock ROCK motion.

This was then followed by light white/blue smoke. I had my cousin come look at it and we dont think its 100% a oil problem. May be a spark plug going out, check all those cables though... haven't gotten time to replace plugs yet.

The coolant is fine, no bubbles or anything. So thats not leaking into the engine. Clearly there is some oil (telled by the smell) and a gas problem.. Is there anything the forum can think of that may be causing this issue?'

Back in the old days, a bad vacuum modulator could cause all of your issues - the transmission problems, smoke - I'm not sure if these cars have them or not, hopefully someone with more knowledge will comment shortly.

Good luck

does it smoke constantly when you drive it? blue smoke means youre burning oil, if it happens constantly it could be the rings
