why does my trunk look open

you can adjust it at the 2 trunk hinges
remove the liner on the underside of the trunk lid (just remove the snap fastener on each side and then you can get to the hinge)
there are 2 bolts holding those arms to the trunk lid. You can loosen the bolts and then adjust the trunk, then retighten

When you do adjust it becareful not to adjust it to much. Do it a little at a time until you get it the way you want it. And make sure you can close and pop open the trunk becasue it will mess up the alignment with the latch.

my 2 cents
i had this problem too. i have the trunk off a 90 gxe on my 91 se. i had to get a junkyard trunk to add my touring wing. There are 9 factory spoiler holes and thats like 40.00 a hole to fill and weld and who knows how long that holds! mine sits kinda high after the install. I didnt even know that this could be adjusted. Thanks! you learn something new everyday!
