Engine RPM going up and down with AC ON

Hello guys my 94 GXE MAXIMA engine RPM is moving up and down ONLY with the AC on...when the AC is off it's normal...can u guys help me to figure what's wrong with this situation.

Does it drive normally when you step on the gas?

yes driving it does but at a red light the rpm goes up and down

IACV...it's either dirty or malfunctioning

ok I will take it out and clean it and will see what happens
