Damaged hood; what about hinges & latch?

My wife drove into the back of a truck that had a vertical metal part sticking down, which crunched into the front of our '90 Maxima's hood. I've found a replacement a couple hours' drive away online that looks promising. But is it possible for me to know before replacing it if the hinges are bent and need replacing too? And what about the latch? Anything else? Besides the hood, the only other damage I see is the grille, which is cracked.

I'll try to get a picture up soon.

UPDATE:

I cleared off the 6 inches of snow that fell on it last night to get a good look at it. The hood won't even open. The driver-side hinge corner doesn't look like it moved, but the passenger-side hinge corner is pushed up slightly. I'm not going to try this DYI. I'll take it to a body shop. But I see that an undamaged hood of the correct color is available for a good price from a wrecking yard just 90 miles away, so I'll see if I can save money by fetching that hood myself.
