My 94 GXE Maxima needs a new IAC valve...Orielly's has one for the SE Maxima. Would this part be the same for a

they will not work since the SE model has a different 3.0 DOHC and the GXE is a SOHC engine so they use different set up

Buy some CHEM-DIP disassemble your and soak it for about a week....More than likely the water passages are clogged shut with pipe rust!
