Attempted Replacing My Thermostat....

Today me and a friend attempted replacing the thermostat on my 1990 Max, But we failed! We had the radiator hose out of the way but couldn't access any of the 3 bolts to get the thermostat housing off.
I couldn't believe some of you guys changed your own thermostats....
any hints on how to get down there would be great.

Thanks alot.

The three bolts are right there.

You might wanna try using a universal joint if that could help you.

I used my regular socket......and the bolts came out fine.

I did this about a year ago. If you move the A/C refrigerent line out of the way by unbolting that bracket that holds it, it makes the job much easier.
