Re: ecu and cams....

the JWT II cams are only $550 and the ECU is $560...not $700 a piece.

Not sure of the exact torque and HP gains, but it is very noticable. It revs faster, accelarates faster, and has my exhaust sounding right now, not raspy. I have a Warpspeed ss t-409 ypipe, RT cat, and greddy sp cat back now that sounds phat except when the ypipe hits the front sway cause my motor mounts suck *** and are getting replace in the next month, just no money now.

The JWT ECU though I have noting but good things to say bout it cept I have a problem I hink with my O2 sensor so occasionally now it will ackfire because the o2 is the original and running now 20degrees F hotter then before. The other thing is that my MAF is not fluctuating its voltage to correctly flow the right amount of air to fuel mixture.

IM me usually at 3:30am-4:30am when I am on my meal break at work is about the only time I am on!

Not really, look into getting custom ones made! There is a shop here locally in Lexington, Kentucky that may be able to help you if you really want cams, or a custom engine rebuild, or call Heikemian racing he might be able to help you also but for a price!

I will get the number for RTC Technology here in Lexington, Ky for you and post it or you can call information and get the number for RTC Technology here in Lexington, Ky. If you do that, talk to Stephen Jessey when you call, he is super knowledgable and has a 300zx race car and I have previously talked to him about a complete engine upgrade/rebuild!

Maryland isn't that far at all!

If I hadn't found RTC technology here i was going to go to California to get custom work done

Shut off at 120?? Why would your car shut off at 120? I have been clocked at 139mph in my Maxima on SR37.
Is there something different? I don't remember how fst it was stock, I never really pushed it then, but... ?

top speed

if i have the gas to the floor, i can get to about 120 on the speedo and the engine will shut off....like the newer chevy trucks(i've only seen chevy trucks do this)...but the tach shows about 4 grand...it won't speed up anymore unless i'm going downhill. i've tried and tried, but can't reach over that on the speedo. at 1st i thought it was another gear, but won't go any faster. i have a 93 gxe auto....i dunno what the hell it is

Re: top speed

something is VERY wrong with you r car, you need to have that checked out! I can imagine you telling your mechanic this... "help me, I can't do 130 in my car for some reason!!!" but seriously get that checked!

I have an idea, when my uncle remove his center console to fix something he left the A/T switch unplugged. His car did seem slow because when it hit 4th gear at 115mph it didn't pull anymore. But he has an SE and with it on Power it peggs the speedo. Here is the vid of his 200k+ mile 91SE with 440lbs of passengers (I weigh 160lb, my cuz is just alittle heavier) http://www.vi2.com/maxForumFiles/2_4_2002/91maxima.WMV

I have the exact same car, and I KNOW I can go more then 120, I don't know exactly how fast I've gone, but judging from the needle position, it had to have been close to 135-140, and that was with a leaky exhaust!
I still say the car went faster before I had the leak "fixed"... Which it wasn't, damn scam artists...

Mine car cant go faster that like 130 more or less, because it have a speed limiter. It do the same think like the RPMs limit, why its that?

Manufacturers use speed limiters to keep owners from doing things like blowing out their tires (drastically exceeding the speed rating), blowing the engine, or just putting themselves in unecessary danger. Not that WE need them.

Man, you are slow! That was 2 days ago. I almost forgot about it. Just kiddin'. Did you take any pictures? Not of the engine bay of course, nobody takes pics of an engine that few people have ever seen. How did you get motor mounts and everything for that? Or did you convert it to RWD?

Fleetwood Brogham De' Elegance. RWD auto standard. It came with the LT1 Corvette engine in it. The only modification was the Supercharger done by a guy in town known as "Cadillac Jack". You can look him up on the web. He might still have pics of it, but I never took any pics of it that I can remember. I think actually I might have taken a couple, but that was years ago and who knows where they've ended up...

Oh, and the stock motor mounts were more than enough to handle the supercharger. The lame part is that at 144mph the governor would stop the flow of gas to the injectors so that is as fast as I got to go. A new ECU could have taken care of that but I sold it when it hit 89K mi...
