Exhaust, Worth it on GXE?

Hey this may be a stupid question but im not sure. Ive seen a lot say that catback exhaust only adds 3 hp for the VG maxima? I have intake and muffler, and plan on a warpspeed y-pipe next, would getting catback exhaust even be worth it? Im under the impression that it would add only 3 hp. That is not worth it to me for 300-400 dollars.

i don't really know the nunmbers, but i thought it was more than 3. could be wrong though. my advice (i read in your sig "soon to be maxed out") would be to just do other stuff you want, that may have better increases first if you are on a budget.

If you are getting a y pipe, and already have a muffler, are you just talking about getting a b-pipe? I think, that unless you like really loud noise, you will be happy once the y pipe is in. The money could be better spent elsewhere if you are on a budget, I think.

it will compliment the Y-pipe, but you can have a muffler shop make you custom 2.5" piping for $150-200. don't waste $4-500 ona Greddy or somehting "name brand."

Thnks for the help, I will talk to the muffler shop when I get my y-pipe and get it put on about custom 2.5 piping. Maybe one day my GXE will break 16's! Runs 16.5 right now in 1/4th.
