bimmer lights... oh shiet

they look hot. did not take a pic yet but i took my time and have one in right now. everything fits flush but does anyone know if the GTO likes will fit over the lights so i can make a brow for themthey dont stick out this just when you look right on top of them you can see the hood stick out just a little more. that is the only thing i can see wrong with them. but they are a he11 of a lot brighter than stock. i had the one stock and one bimmer light and i drove down the street and it did not seem like i had the stock light on. i would psot pics but you all are probably sick of seeing them. . next is 18" five star rims.

Need4pwr made his brows from headlight covers with his BMW lights. Worked great and looked nice.

hey, what lights did you use, the ZKYs? if so, take some fitment pics from inside the hood too, I'd like too see.

you can use either GTOs or the BMW brows, BMW brows need painting though.

here's mine

Yeah did you use the ZKW euro BMW lights? I would like to know how you fit the huge rear in if you used the ZKW,s. Maybe have someone warn me on what not to do

i used the lights from a 325 '95 made from hella. the ones that i think everyone has. i ordered them from thepartsbin.com. i got them to fit in really well. there is no unsual gap between the hood and the light. there is a 1 cm. over hang of the hood. as for the bottom of the light. i glued the black strip to the contour of the light. and today i am going to tint the side markers so they look like they go together. i am going to try to make a brow from the CLEAR maxima brow. tell you how it goes. i dont have a digi camara so pics may take a week

you really need to do something about that grille...chrome with the bimmer lights and the black isn't cutting it

you've got a really nice car jon, but I think with the eyelids on the lights, it's trying to go for that black-out look or something so a body colored grille would fit better IMO

just a thought (actually Chris' thought )

I've checked out pictures of both the ellipsoid and the parabolic ZKW and Boschs. The rears look about the same size, so they should fit...how much work is required...is another thing I know that the ellipsoids have been fit successfully in the past.

My ellipsoids are on their way, I should have them in anytime now

i was told that the ZKW is at least an inche to an inche and a half deeper then the ellipsoids, but i think it shouldn't be that much of a problem. So ngthing what are you gonna to do with the set of e36 lights that you already have on

If you look at the picture I linked, you'll see what is "extra" on the ellipsoids. My e36 lights /w projectors and HIDs are for sale, $550 for the full set.

if you're interested, I've got a set of JP demon eyes, the same set I'm sticking in my car (basically, the top of the line) angel eyes fit for the ZKs, $210 shipped ($350 + ship, retail), I'd be wiling to cut you a deal/trade, email me, jng@annulardesign.com, or IM me.

this might help

try painting the rubber above your headlights. thats what i did when i got my car repainted. i will get some pics of it today if i can. my car looks so sweet. all i have left to do is sand and buff the paint. then add the side marker lights, hyper white fogs, and washer lights back on when the paint has cured. then repaint the trim, and repaint the calipers later. Wait till i get my grill done. It will look so much better.I dont think anyones max can touch mine after i get done. as far as looks! but thats my opinion.

Ngthing, Give me some info on the HID's on the lights, 9005,9006? age, brand, etc... also are you selling the lights with the max's brackets? I'm especially interested if so.

I really don,t like the ellipsoid lights. Thats why I bought the Free form plus the H7's put out better lighting.I have a few electrical things to work out with wiring these up. I want these to be a certain way.
