ok, finally decided to replace my rear valve cover gasket since i had the time and was wonderin if anybody ran into any probs...i have searched and couldnt find any negative coimments, but just checkin to make sure...also, do i really need to use a new intake gasket or can i just reseal the old 1? reason bein i was quoted $50 from a parts place, maybe the dealer is cheaper??? also, somtimes when i am crusuing at say 60+ i hear a droning and repeating noise...waaAAAHHaaahhh....waaAAHHaaahhhh...and keeps goin...its hard to explain, and isnt loud atall, if i have the radio on i don hear it atall, but i figured id mention it while i was talkin junk...also, would any1 b interested in a write up on replaceing the gasket? if so i will take pics, etc...maybe later

Haven't done it myself, but you DO need to get a new valve cover. usually a Fel-Pro kit is about $35 and includes everything you need, but may not be the case on our cars.. They were that much on a couple different honda engines I've done valve work on.
but anyway, you'll need the intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and make sure you get the small round ones that fit around the spark plug holes. if you don't, you'll end up leaking oil into the spark plug holes and the car runs like crap. that's why I had to work on both hondas.. the plug holes filled with oil from leaking valve cover gaskets, and caused lots of other problems after that.
