most civics sold have sohc non-vtec punty 130hp motors, with turbo it still wouldnt be that fast.

Whats the one thing that Honduhs are missing? Torque. I havent't been to the track or anything but when it comes to a street race i know how to drive my car. Turbo civics have no power off the line due to lag and lack of torque. The only reason i beat them because it was off the line and we only went about 1000 ft. They would have had me in the 1/4 but they still were mad.

ive been to tracks alot i go almost every month, sometimes to race sometimes just to watch. Theres no way u can beat a turbo civic, even if you try. I ran against a 89 civic hatchback with a D16 that had a t3/4 greddy non-intercooled, with greddy cat back exhaust and aem air. he ran 14.29 against mine 15.9 still remember that day, his car looked like crap and almost nothing in the engine was done a simple bolt on turbo which ran mid 14. So dont tell me u can beat a turbo civica good tuned turbo civic runs 13's maybe 12's. Non-turbo is another story yes they are very slow.

Yeah well a 3rd gen with a "simple bolt-on turbo" (quite a bit more work than that! ) would beat the CRAP out of a turbo civic!

that is a 4th gen, those weigh close to nothing, same motors came in the EG and Ek models and they were quite a bit heavier.

I had it up for sale last fall. No interrest. I have too much in the thing and I don't want to bother parting it out. I'll put off getting a new one for another year and finish this one in the mean time. I swear this year is it! Nothing else after this. Of course, I've said that the last 2 years.

I'm probably gonna go with some 17 Enkei wheels and probably Kumho tires(712). Sprint Springs and either KYB or Tokico shocks. I plan on painting a couple of interior pieces silver. Paint calipers silver? maybe. I might do a rear disk brake conversion so I dont have the ugly drums there once my wheels are on.

summer mods...

I am going to
-finish my body kit
-patch up rust
-shave trunk
-take care of recall (fuel filler)
-paint the car R34 blue
-new konis for the front
-finally install my Zex nitrous kit & guages
-finish interior
-maybe redo exhaust from 2.5 cat back to 3" cat back (new cat and muffler)
-CF hood?? I got a guy who can make CF anything (retiring from Indy Cars)

Important stuff is the rust, recall, paint, and nitrous. If I have time for the rest of it then GREAT!
