NEED *** ECU CODES *** for 92 SE Auto

I suggest buying a service manual for about the same price. it will have all the ECU codes in there, and you'll be able to fix and diagnose so much more later also.
An essential tool in the garage if you maintain your car yourself.

OK do this. Turn the ignition key on (car not running) take the panel on the passenger side of the car under the radio off. turn the little screw fully clockwise then turn back. watch the bulbs flash the haynes manual says that a red one will flash the first code and a green light will flash a second code but mine only has the red light and it flashes the first code then waits and flashes the second code.
come back on here and tell us the code and we will tell you what it means.
it is too hard to post all the codes.
It would be good if you could at least get a cheap haynes manual...it will help in the long run.
good luck and let us know.

Thanks

Don't forget it's 92 SE.
I counted 5 longer flashes and 5 shorter flashes.
Can anyone tell me what that means?
Thanks

I ran the test and got the same thing and my car runs smooth as silk except for the occasional tick (dang vtc) every now and then.
