Serious Maximanian needs help!!

My maxima sometimes has problem when stopping at a light. The tachometer niddle will jump up and down. It even down to 400rpm, the engine is struggling from coming into a stall. But if the AC is on, this problem never happens.

It is not a dirty throttle body or fuel injector. Must be something related to thermal. I remember somebody talked about it before, but I could not find the post.

Please help!!!

Plugs and wires

When is the last time you replaced these?

pulg wires are fine

I didn't replace them, but tested the resistance of each. I got 3 of them 13K ohm, other 3 are: 10K,8.5K, 7K. IT looks normal.

The only thing I did to ignition is replacing Idstributor cap. It was a $19 one bought from Autozone. Is that a problem?

Why don't u try and replace the distributor rotor and the plugs before u replace the tps? Just replacing the distributor is only half the job. its like taking a shower without using soap.
If the plugs and the rotor is not the problem, u just did a tune up and its not that costly. If the tps is bad, wouldn't it do the same thing with or without a/c being on?
