No more Bose for me........

tonight I pulled out the Bose and did a entire make-over of my stereo. I'm sorry to say that with just two working amps and spearkers my previous Bose system would play louder, clearer, and had allot more bass than what I just put in. However, I now have the capibilities to add the subs and amp I've always wanted but coudln't really do with the Bose still there. LONG LIVE BOSE.

Whatever. I just ripped out my Bose and put a Blaupunkt system in. Heidelburg CD51 and ODxa coax 3 way 6.5s in the front, with ODxa 4 way 6x9s in the rear. They have a clarity that the Bose couldn't ever compete with, and there is enough bass to make the songs sound correct.

The best part? I paid $110 for the speakers and $275 for the HU. New. I did run new wire.

oh, I forgot my novice audiophile motto.

"No highs, no lows, must be Bose"

It sounds better said out-loud.
