a little bit of input and advice would be nice. i've wanted to get PRCAI all along when i get the money and now that i'm close, i hear that FrankenCAR intakes are becoming very popular. so i was wondering which intake would be preffered? i know the CAI will give me around 8-10 horses but what about Frankncar? the website www.frankencar.com tell me the increase on a 2k2 max so i dunno? any help?

It varies from car to car but 8-10 wouldnt be abnormal by any means.

You need to get one of those Fastlane Intakes. They are so loud they scare all other cars away, produce awesome butt dyno figures and you can drive 800 miles on a tank of gas. I forgot, they also make your engine rev so quickly that the 6500 RPM fuel cut off moves up to 7000....

There are basically 2 types of intakes, CAIs and POP style. The CAI tends to increase lo end torque better, whereas the POP style, like the Frankencar, tend to increase the top end better. Go from there.

If, you plan on adding the Variable intake manifold, then the CAI might be the best, b/c it increases the low end, and the VI takes care of the rest, making for the best all round VQ30DE
