Curious--- How Many Miles Can A Max Last???

I HAVE 110K MILES ON MY 95 MAX AND WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH LONGER DOES MY ENGINE HAVE LEFT , I DRIVE PRETTY EASY MOST OF THE TIME BUT I BOUGHT MY CAR AT AN AUCTION WITH 104K MILES AND DONT KNOW HOW THE PREVIOUS DRIVER WAS, EVEN THOUGH THE CAR SEEMS TO RIDE SMOOTH NOW, THE ONLY THING I DO KNOW BY DOING A CARFAX REPORT IS THAT THE CAR WAS PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED IN MT KISCO NEW YORK UPSTATE, I DO ALOT OF CITY DRIVING ABOUT 45-55MILES A DAY, I AM CURIOUS TO SEE HOW LONG OTHER MAX'S LASTED ,

CAN PEOPLE PLEASE POST THEIR YEAR MAX, MILES, AND CITY WHERE THEY'RE FROM

THIS WAY I WILL HAVE SOME IDEA OF HOW LONG MY CAR WILL LAST

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

The engine itself, given that it is treated and maintained properly, will go for a very long time. Just think of this. My Dad's cousin has a 1990 Maxima SE. It has 268k miles on it, and the only major thing he has had to replace is the alternator. He treats it well and does what needs to be done maintenance wise. So, given that our cars are newer, probably better designed, and stonger (engine wise), it is safe to say that the engine will probably go to 300k miles and more. But again, where you live, how you drive, and past history are the main determinants in this factor.

4th gens engines are even better in my opinion.. so do not think it will go anytime soon.

it all depends on how well you take care of it. I've seen some late nighties cars that are in worse condition than my 88 sentra beater (which is falling apart). if you keep it healthy, it will take care of you.
