Went to the dyno today

190.8 HP and 205.1 TQ without the nitrous.
230.8 HP and 273.2 TQ with 100 shot.

The runs were made on dynojet and they were SAE corrected. The temp was 100 F and humidity was around 14%.

My car is running very rich on and off of the nitrous.
Off the nitrous its around 11.6 to 1 from about 4000 to 6300.
With the 100 shot its around 10.5 to 1 from 4500 to about 5700.
I hope that a S-AFC will solve my problems.

Hopefully I will pass 200 hp NA when I get the A/F right, my MEVI comes in and the temp cools down.

Oh and I have no fuel jet in and my fuel pressure is around 80psi and the bottle pressure was 1000psi.

I think its because of my air fuel ratio. It also surges, which the owner of the shop says thats its the air fuel ratio.
What I cant understand is why its so rich. There is no jet in the bypass tree and I'm only running 80 psi. Hopefully when I get the
S-AFC it will go back up.

Yeah you should definitely be getting more than 40fwhp out of an NOS 100-shot. I would expect atleast 60fwhp. I would think you should be able to tune it to get the power without the S-AFC though. Maybe the FPR or nozzle or something else? Anyway with the MEVI and SAFC I think you should be able to pass 200fwhp NA.

That would be alot cheaper. The thing is it the air fuel ratio constantly becomes richer from 3000rpm(14/1) to 4700rpm(10.5/1)and then back up at 5700rpm(11.5) when on the nitrous. If I got a FPR it seems that the dip would still be there. Hopefully with the S-AFC I'll be able to tune it to be a flat 13/1 across the board.

So you think it's the ECU that's changing the air/fuel ratio? Because if it's not then the S-AFC won't help will it?

I don't know much about the S-AFC except that it changes the reading on the Mass air flow sensor. From what I've heard, it does a good job.
Maybe its not the ECU, I don't know.

I checked my computer for codes and there was nothing(except for the auto tranny codes)

Very nice pulls Matt - even before the shot. 205TQ is impressive, one of the highest around. Can't wait to see what VI adds

Thanks, I didn't expect it to be that high because of the temp. When it was an auto it only pulled 155 Hp and 175 tq. Minus the pulley. I cant wait for the VI also.
Got another question. Lets say that I tune the car with the S-AFC before I get the VI. Should I re-tune it after I put it in?

Re: Went to the dyno today

190HP NA?? Damn. That's great for a 4th gen.

That's 229HP at the crank. Sure you didn't put a 5th gen motor in your car? j/k

So a completely stock 4th gen has 151hp @ the wheels?
