Need help with Intake

Need help with Intake

Hey people i nne some assistance. I took off my stock airbox and installed the frankencar intake, the problem i am running into is i have an extra connector plug at the bottom. I pluged the one back into the MAF sensor, but where does the one at the bottom of the factoryair scoop go? I hope someone can help out thanks. Oh i have a 97 SE

That plug is for the air intake temp sensor. Which I assume is still in your factory piping. Doesn't the Frankencar intake have a hole for that sensor?

If it doesn't, you'll need to rig it up somehow in the filter. Remove the sensor from the factory intake, put it inside the K&N or whatever filter you've got from him.

I'd PM him and ask what he recommneds to do with that sensor. I'm suprised his intakes don't have a hole for that sensor to go into. Maybe you've got the wrong mid pipe?

the frankencar doesn't come with a hole for the ATS. just zip-tie close to the filter
