Need buying advice

So I'm totally new to Maximas. Sorry. Now, I have a few questions about them. I'm in the market for a new car, and a 4th gen Maxima is on my list, among the BMW E36 3 series and Mitsu Diamante. I would just like to know, since the horsepower is 190, would I really benefit from a lot of small performance mods, such as CAI and cat-back? I've researched the BMWs a lot, and it seems they look really sweet with clear corners and such. Can some of you Maxima fellas post your rides so I can get a feel for what the Maxima could look like? Sorry for being a newbie, thanks!

Edit: If possible, can you guys tell me the difference between the different trims? I won't go 5th gen as I don't like the style, and 3rd gen is too old. Thanks again!

-Zack

Yeah, Nismo, what are you running there? GLE/SE/GXE? What mods? I'm sorry I'm asking dumb questions.

Search through the forums, and read. If you see one you like, see if that person has a homepage (to the left, under their user name) and read more about their specific 'ride' on their home page. I am a newbie to the Maxima world myself. Bought a '95 SE 5spd. 3 weeks ago. SO far I am very very glad I did. Only wish I would have waited and bought a '97-'99 5spd. But I LOVE my MAXIMA!!!!
