Hey guys. Well I changed my Spark Plugs and after that was done, the Check Engine Light popped on. So I read the procedure on how to do it. I did exactly what it said, but it still wont turn off.

Heres what I did.

I had the car off and everything, no key in the ignition. Turned the screw clockwise until stop, waited 2 seconds, turning it back to counterclockwise until stop, and did it again real quick.

Am I doing something wrong? this light is killin me! lol

ummm...the engine light is sposed to stay on if you leave the car in "acc" but dont crank and turn it over . turn the engine on and itll go away. if not, you still have the problem. did you get the code from the light before you reset it?

 

ehh, first off, u r SUPPOSED to have the car on the dial right before it can be started. Then u do the reset. That may be your mistake right there. If that doesn't work, then check the codes they give you and work from there. But car has to be on AC or lock on, not sure what name is but the one before car can be started....

 

when you car is in the "lock" position and the ac and radio come on, all your dash lights come on (ebrake, airbag, CEL etc etc). once the engine turns over. they all go off.
