to all the engine guru's

i replaced my injectors today and cant get my car cranked. i got to looking and i left the o-ring out that goes under the bolt that holds down the fuel rail. would this cause it not to crank? i dont want to have to pull that damn manifold off 3 times if its bad injectors.

did u check to c if any fuel is goin into the injectors?? This car that i worked on, where the fuel enters the fuel rail had a hole inside the screw to let fuel from the fuel line to get into the injector rails. U need to make sure that the hole inside the bolt is aligned with the fuel hose goin into the rail. Also check your spark plugs to see if it sparks or is it wet.

If your starter is "turning" and engauging the fly wheel, your engine is "cranking" over but not starting. Please clearify this for us.

You have a crank, but no start condition?

sorry to be so vague. i'll try again. the car is cranking, just not starting. it cranks at 50 psi of f.p., but when i stop cranking, the f.p. drops at a rate of about 1 psi per second. i re-checked all the fuel lines and everything is tight as can be. i'm hoping that the black plastic spacers that i left out are the cause of this. i just dont understand how it could keep it from starting, unless the injector is pushed too far down. would these plastic spacers also be the reason of the fuel pressure loss? should i get new o-rings for the injectors?
