Hi, I had APC upgrade Harness for roughly 3 years, and I noticed driver side headlight is very dim. I saw connector some burned in ground wire from APC 9004 connector and highwattage bulbs. I thought it was bad bulb, so I replaced different bulbs. After 3-4 months, same problem. This time, inside of connect in bulb was burned much seveal than before. Is this defective Harness? Does Pepboy carry same 9004 Connector that APC uses? 9004 APC uses fiber grass in bottom while OEM connector is just plastic. Do I have to replace whole harness again?

 

Really couldn't tell you, I'm not an electric guru.... But when I got my APC harness 2/3 weeks ago, I was told it comes with a lifetime warranty. Ok, but I'm not sure if APC offers the lifetime warranty or just that Baxter Auto Parts offer that to all APC electrical items. Cause I blew my APC H3 and 9004 before and I just took them back, they gave me brand new ones, no question asked. So you might want to check and see if you might be eligible for a free new one.

 

I had the same problem.......... got rid of the APC and used the stock harness works fine...
