THERE IS NO BEES-IN-A-CAN SOUND.
I have had the BudgetExhaust Y-pipe with stock cat-back & now with warpspeed test pipe & Greddy cat-back. Absolutely NO BEES-IN-A-CAN sound...none...zilch...zip...shunya...

 

Thanx guys...looks like there is nothing wrong with budget. Now I can get one without worrying.

They are in ontario canada, so if you are in CA, like I am, I think they are 3hours ahead. Im going to call them 2morrow morning and order mine.

Just had my Budget Y-pipe (Stainless Steel painted, Mandrel bent) installed today. I also have a custom 2.5" catback and OBX SS muffler.
The noise level definitely increased, but only got louder and deeper, no bees-in-can sounds.
The gains are extrememly noticable too, especially top end, wow!
I got it on sale from Budget for $160 shipped!! ($250 Canadian)

Sometimes name brand doesn't mean better brand.
