Frankencar install pics...please help double-check :)

I'm still getting that 0807 ECU code, but it would be greatly appreciated if you guys could double-check my connections. I have faith in our fellow org. member costcowholesale for his install, but any other opinions would b great.

Thanx

just a suggestion, move the negative battery cable. don't let it sit on the filter!

hmmm i didn't know about the air temp only being on the 95/96... i just ordered my frankencar, i can't wait to get it! I hope I don't run into that problem, i have a k&N filter that came w/ the car when i bought it so i'm guessing the air temp sensor has already been relocated... or do you have to do that w/ the midpipe only?

I ziptied the sensor right behind the base of the cone. No code. It looks like one of your hoses may be loose (not sure). Check all that. Clean off your filter. Check your MAF. After that...

I actually got bored and drilled mine into the top of the filter so it is actually functional. Drilled the hole for the sensor and "Gooped" it on there with this special stuff that will hold no matter what you do to it stuff is nutz. Before that i had it laying on the tranny shift actuator, behind it actually. Brian

Heh, Looks to me like that Rubber piece you got with your Intake, is Right on the end of the throttle body. Heres what I did to fix that solution, This is probably why your getting that code. Get the Stock Black Filter box that your emoved, and take off the Flex part that used to be on the black box filter to the throttle body. Replace that little rubber ring with that. There fore you can have it all the way on the TB and it flexes to which ever way you put the whole intake.

There, that should help!
