Raced a 02' GTI-VR6---->6spd

Ok brand new 20002 GTI VR6-6spd and the kids got a cold air, and chip..>...well the other night I drove up to his school to visit and he wanted to run with me out on this highway by his school, I really didnt know the area that well but im like what the he**...BTW: I have my stock 15s back on, Y-pipe, Cold Air, ACT clutch
Every time we raced, mostly 3rd and on and once from a 1st gear roll, I beat him but not by much...hes a really good driver...He hung with me through my 1st and 2nd gear but my third tore him up...from a roll in 1st comin onto the highway, he got alittle jump and we were semi even till my 3rd gear...then I pulled pretty hard...When we raced i won bye about a car length or 2 but I dont know what to expect.. hes 210hp, plus what hes got, and hes lighter and the closer gears with the 6spd...he still insists his car is faster but I may have to go to the track tomorrow and show him up

What do you you all think ?? Has anyone lined up against any new VR6's yet ??

he's not really that much lighter, edmunds.com says 3036 pounds. I dunno why he still thinks he's faster, if you beat him.

Tell him he should have gotten a 1.8T, and then chipped it

That car would probably beat a stock 5spd. But you have more mods than he does.
