Tranny Cooler or A/C Condenser
Hey folks....on our 4th gens we have an additional grid radiator style panel in front of our radiators....is this the condenser for the a/c or does it perform additional cooling functions for the tranny? My Chiltons doesn't tell me.

Its the AC condenser that is in front of the radiator. The radiator is what cools the auto-tranny fluid with a built in tranny fluid cooler, this is what you hook up in series with an aftermarket tranny fluid cooler if you decide to go down that route.
