Hello all. My sister just bought a pair of airbags and a control module for her 95 SE. The car has non-functional airbags when we bought it. When we plugged in the new airbags, the airbag light does not come on when you turn the key into the "on" position. These airbags came out of a 96 Maxima. The plugs were the same on the dash but I couldn't use the 96 module because it was smaller and the plugs were different. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? The module should work right? Her car not been in an accident as far as I know. Now there are two options. Either get a harness that will allow me to use the 96 module or get a set of airbags out of a 95. I don't know if there is something else that I should try. Please help.

I would try to get a harness to fit in the 96 airbag control module off of a wreck. This would be the best possible way to ensure that it may work. I just think that your 95 airbag control module is faulting. Replace it and I think you should be good.
