ECU question

I had the by ECU repaced on my 99 Max SE 5 speed by nissan about a month ago(luckily still under warranty)but ever since then the car feels like it has less power and is using more gas than with the old ECU is this possible?Or is it possible those great nissan techs installed a auto ECU?I should also mention my Max is a cali spec but i don't think that should matter.Thanx for any help!

a Check engine light would have popped up if it was an auto ecu. I suggest to check the codes and see of you have a Knock sensor problem or any other problems. A Knock sensor will not cause teh check engine light to appear so its best to pull the codes out of the ecu.
