Frankencar midpipe Install

Did any of you have any trouble getting the coupler provided with the midpipe to connect to your MAF? Ive streched, pulled, pried and still cant get it on. I finally just went to Lowe's and bought a coupler, but it looks all big and beefy now because, the provided coupler is in the end that the midplie is on, and the other end of the new one, i used to attach to the MAF. I really, dont like this ghetto set up, and any info on how to get the damn thing on would be great.

Use a flathead screwdriver to pry it off carefully... don't worry, it will come out eventually.

try warming it up, then stretch it out with your hands to fit it onto the maf a bit at a time. eventually it will slip over completely and you'll be set. keep at it, mine took a while to fit too.
