B-pipe Qs

I took a look at my b-pipe while it was in the lift and it looks very rusted. Thus I will purchase a new b-pipe soon, HOwever, I would like to go and have a 2.5" SS pipe made at some muffler shop. My questions is, if I go to have it custom made will it get ride of the restrictive s curve in the stock exhaust and how much power will I actually get by going to 2.5" and not 2.25"?

not very much, the most restrictive part of the maxima exhaust is the down pipe. I woudlnt even change it unless you really feel like you need it to do it. In your case you might have to if its falling apart.

I used to live in queens. my parents had a car where the whole body was rusted out. actually, I think they had more than one car where the body was rusted out. Those were old cars though. I think the winter salts can be pretty bad.

I know budget makes one but why would I pay what ever they charge when I can have one made and installed for $120.

i doubt a custom job will cost $120

budget's pipe is about $130 shipped, and you will want a resonator probably and that will cost more no matter where you get it from.

Then someone hooked his *** up, cause $120 is a ridiculously low price. Someone better be related to you or owe you a huge favor for that price.
