Starting woes - took 5 tries to get my max finally started

earlier today I started my max as normal, would run for about 2 seconds, cut out and then stall, then waited about 20 seconds to try again, same thing, repeated this process for about 3 to 4 times before it finally started and kept running. I have near 85.5K on the odometer and recently replaced the alternator c/o the recall, what can be causing this?

Btw this happens when the car is "cold" started

Might need to clean your throttle body.

I had the same problem couple of days ago.
I'm not sure but I think that my problem was water in the fuel system.
I put drygas in the tank filled it up and so far everything works fine.

fuel pump?

My guess is that the fuel pump is going bad, causing my max not to start becuz this happened w/ my mom's '95 Blazer, could this be the cause? If so how much are fuel pumps for Max's?

update

starting is getting even worse, now its taking 10 tries to get my max sstarted? When the car is warmed up, however, it starts right off the bat. Any other symptoms besides a dirty TB that are causing this?
