Intake questions...

I have 3 questions relating to intakes, and maybe someone could help me a bit.
1. Is there a site out there or does anyone have dynos of the hp added from a midpipe only (how much more does it add than just a pop charger alone?)
2.my friend brought this to my attention today about my intake, I didnt reconnect the hose coming from the pcv valve back into the intake- just stuck a breather on there. Would this have any advantage or harm to my engine by not having it hooked up? If it were connected wouldnt it theoretically give less performance since it would be putting hot air back into the intake? Just asking so I dont screw up my car.
3.The person who told me about the pcv valve kinda monkeyed around with his intake a bit, he took off the stock air intake up to the air box, and removed everything before the top half of the air box and somehow made the filter stay up in the upper half. Would that have any performance gain over the stock setup or any sort of benefit besides sound?
If someone could clear me up I'd appreciate it, thanks.
Justin

well, not shure about the dyno charts but that breather hose is for the crankcase ventalation and It doesnt affect eprformance weather or not you use the stock hose or a breather filter. As long as you use the breather on the crankcase and make shure you PLUG the hole from the intake.
