The exhaust on a 97-99 Max is a little bit longer than the exhaust on a 95-96 Max. So in your case, the tip might stick out a bit. Also, the 97-99 should have a bung hole (no joke) for the rear O2 sensor. If yours has that, you need to plug the hole.

If the system is for a 95-96, you won't have a bung hole. If it does, you need to call wherever you got your stuff, give them hell, and get yourself the right parts. Trust me, getting the wrong parts is a huge part of modding.

It should be on the section that meets up with the cat.

the hole would be very close to the end that attaches to the cat..

not all 97-99 maximas have an o2 sensor after the cat.. i DO NOT

the b-pipe section should be the same for all 95-99 maximas

the obx catback should fit all 95-99 maximas..

95-96 the muffler tip will be slightly resessed

Yea the sticker on the muffler said 97-98

I knew there was two generations on these
95-96 and
97-98

Now the muffler section is wrong then..I would hate to put it all on and have the exhaust stick out..I did specify that there was one for a 96

I hope I dont have any problems, I ordered the cat-back last tuesday and I was told that a bunch are shipping out on this monday, I do have a 98 max, hope I get a 98 system, that would be funny if I got a 96 system then people would be trading all over the place... anyway the seller seems respectable I would think they would do something to help.

is the 97-98 any different than the 99?
i have a 99 ES, which is the canadian version of an SE-L.

SO would the 97-98 fit on my car?
cause the guy from SSautochrome sells it as 95-96, 97-98, 99-01
it doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing tho...any help?

I dont even know if there is a 95-96 generation...As of right now, everyone that has ordered one for a 96 or 95, has gotten one for 97-98 and he tells me that it will fit, and 95-99 are all the same ?? I dont get this guy at all..he sais he has two three generations, and I only think he has ONE

well if it DOES fit on my 99.5 then i'd take it off your hands if you don't want it and didn't install it yet.

instead of sending it back and getting a new one, i can buy it and you can buy a new one.

this is because the ssautochrome guy isn't replying to my e-mails so i do'nt know whats going on.
