Installing Indiglo Gauges

When I am installing indiglo gauges in my SE, can I take the old white faces out? or do I have to install the new gauges over the old ones.

It's easier to just install over the factory ones. Removing the factory faces require removing the needles. If you remove the needles, you run into the chance of miscalibration, which can be very frustrating if not done right.
