DAMM, ACT clutch freaking rules!

I just got my new ACT HDMM clutch installed and let me tell you, 5 times better than new stock one.. I've already driven over 300 miles on it, so I am starting to drive hard now. I can catch 3rd gear with intake, y-pipe, b-pipe, and sts... I'm pretty sure barking 4th gear is a good possibility with my 75 shot... Can't wait till I go to the track.. Will the new clutch improve my times from stock clutch?

I will find out March 9th when I go to the track. My best time overall was with a slipping stock clutch, and I managed a 15.4 at 88.5 MPH.

I think it makes the car faster , cause i raced my boy with a stock clutch and i beat him by like 2 cars, we both have the same modds and before my clutch we were even.

Sweet! I just ordered one today from No Limit Motorsports (the best prices EVER) and it should be installed by Wednesday. Can't wait!
Did you put it on a stock flywheel? That's what I did, I heard bad stuff about a lightweight flywheel with a non-racing car.

you got ripped...i got mine for $300 plus shipping from Stillen
ask for Adam and tell him you're from Maxima.org and you'll get the hookup
also 300 miles isnt enough to start driving fast....i got 800 and i am not really driving quick yet. 500 miles city driving is the recommended breakin.

I hope my motor mounts dont break, when i hit second i get lots of wheel hop. You shouldn't beat on it to much yet with 300miles , i just tested mines at 300 but still didnt realy max it out until about 500.

I got just the disc for 80 bucks. But i guess you guys needed a performance pressure plate? Is that what made it 300?

Ya i guess i paid more than most but i need my clutch A.S.A.P. so i didnt realy have time to search around .

And as for just buying the stret disc for the stock pressure plate, thats not good, a freind of mine did that on a honda and his presure plate snapped in half when he was racing. how long have you had this setup?
