Air ride or not????

I'm thinking of getting an air suspension kit from southwest - Does anyone know how the ride is? I don't know if the size of the wheels will make a difference but…I've got a '96 GLE and should be getting some 18" Enkei RS6’s soon. I’d like to get the kit but I want to make sure it’s worth it. Any info would be appreciated.

its worth it.

The ride is great. I have 17s now but hope to have 18s soon, but the ride is smooth. Its well worth it to buy it.

I drive Alex's old max, with their air suspension. Its f***ing awesome. I luv it. I even had springs on my last car and air ride is sweet. It can be bumpy at certain heights, but there are a couple heights that are smooth. If you got the $$ go for it.

"improve"......

boy was that entertaining.. it's not snug and tight through turns, let say that, i compare it to an SUV's handling.

ride is pretty smooth, probably the best option of lowering your car more than 2" on a maxima and keeping comfort levels.. i've been on every coil over setup and you cant compare.

i had my first air ride kit on for 8 months and never had any problems with it.. i only took it off because i got bored and that is what i do.

the only thing that needs to be checked is your connections to your air fittings and hoses and that the tank hasnt collected water.. in 8 months of driving i had about 1/2 cup of water in the tank, not too bad.

I am looking to be the first (i have heard of others but never seen them) maxima on bags in miami. I am an old honda fan leaving the scene for some uniqueness to myself. well I am used to seeing wheels tuckin' far under fenders, and I am interested in seeing the same effect on a maxima with a kit on maybe some 18's. I would like to know has it been down, how bout with 20's, In miami we are BIG on 20's 22's 23's 24's and so on... but seriously I am considering 18's for performance/handling , 20's for looks/show. but i want to know what to watch out for, what doesnt work. and I definetely want to tuck. any suggestions, fender rolling??? custom body work, max wheel size say hmmm. 18", 19" . Please help as car show season is around the corner.

btw, my 95 GXE autotragic is about 1 month and a half old, already getting prepped for a kit, and paint job.... pics will be here soon.
