Alternator belt screaming at start-up..

Alternator belt screaming at start-up..

Do i need alternator belt lube or do i need to retighten???

Just had it changed about 2 weeks ago...

Probably you just need to tighten the belt. With a new belt you should not need any belt lube.

I agree, the new belt just stretched a little.

no lube please.

and absolutely no WD-40!!! this stuff eats up rubber like crazy.
