Question about test pipe to replace cat, and get new b-pipe

So i was driving home tonight when my car was making more noise than usual... I'm thinking my catalytic converter might have something wrong with it (since sound was primarily from that area, which led me to check out budgetexhausts website

Anywho, I had read this before, but forgot How much HP/TQ would you gain by replacing the catalytic converter with a test pipe, and
buying a whole new b-pipe?

pic of b-pipe for 97 maxima:

From page:

Thanks

Another question...

What sound difference will exist between the regular b-pipe and the
b-pipe with the resonator?
