New to Maxima world but have always been a big fan from afar. The short of it is I saw a 99 Maxima yesterday with 68K selling for $8495. 2 new tires, new battery, and great brakes. It's a GLE model with nothing special like sun roof, spoiler, or CD player however it drove really smooth and there were no blemishes aside from a couple of barely noticeable scrathes. As I said I am new to the Maima world and to being excited about and taking care of vehichle so I want to make sure I am getting a good deal. If there are anythings good or bad I should keep my eye open for please let me know. Thanks...

I'd say its a good deal...but try to lower the price a little more to make it an even better deal.

 

Try and find out if the major service at 60,000 was done.

 

Be wary. GLE models are supposed to come standard (I believe) with a sunroof, Leather, Bose, and at least one power seat as well as continuously variable wipers and alloy rims. At least my GLE comes with all that, and the GLE is supposed to be the "Luxury Edition". Make sure its not really a GXE model.
