this site needs the search feature! you should not have a front filiment issue if you have a 99, cause it is made to fit 95-99, but the only problem is the front reinforcment is not the same on 95-96 as it is on the 97-99 (97-99 reinforcment is larger) i have a 96 and had the same problem, the shop eventually sanded down the scoops under the blinkers and it fit.

If the shop is competent, they will make certain adjustments on the bar to make the front bumper fit over it.

But then again, taking off the impact beam in order to fit on aftermarket front bumper is more common than you think. Not all mods are created with safty in mind (ie, HIDs, taillights, steering wheel w/o airbag etc.)

... bet they don't do many aftermarket bodykit installs

Take it to another shop, or bring it to my shop. Your impact beam can stay on, just need to modify it.

Good thing your posting this because I was thinking of getting the front bumper off the skyline kit and the rest from the Sarona kit. If it's a big pain in the A$$ - I'm not sure if it's worth it...

$250 for paint and install for the front bumper is reasonable.. for around NYC. You're talking about an entire bumper+ underbody (not like the Stillen front lip).

If you had gotten the bumper from me, I would of been able to offer you an install/paint labor discount.

Email me and we'll set something up.

The Skyline bodykit is 100x easier to install and fit compared to the Sarona kit. I have the Sarona kit and god help me if I ever have to go through that process again.

i installed many body kits on many cars, and most of the time i just take out the reinforcement because of fitment issues. in NYC painting and installing a front bumper is usually around $450.

THAN YOU GUYS

NO the shop was nice to me, they had a bunch of wrecked cars in there lot and they took a reinforcement bar from another car and put it on, it fit on perfect, and it even left enough room for the strifome to go in behind the bumper soo i have the complete package, skin muscle and bone, as they call it in the auto body shop world.

THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL UR HELP

do you know from what car the reinforcment bar was taken from. this could be helpful to everyone as i assume it is better to have smaller reinforcement than none at all right
