Man I tried to get through to him for a while on AIM. He likes his American cars. He doesn't think a car is fast unless it goes 12.3 in the 1/4 mile. And he wont settle for anything less than a LT1.

So maybe he should get a Max and put an LT1 in it. My friend might be able to help. He has a custom LT1 fit in his truck.

I GIVE UP.

Wait a minute, he wants something fast and then is going to buy a Subaru SVX. They look cool, but they are the farthest thing from fast...

You can't convince anyone to buy a maxima. A Jetta, yes; A Civic, definitely; because those cars are made for people with weak minds. But not a Maxima. The car will find you, and it will convince you.

Don't get a Maxima man, it does 0-60 in like 9 seconds with the 5spd and 10 with the auto. The Chevy Malibu's engine puts the Maxima's to shame...it's all hype man. All hype. Don't believe any of this VQ B.S. Maxima's are slow ricer-mobiles.

You want real power? Get a Civic bro. No kidding man. They have furocious 1.8 liter beasts and put out like mad HP stock yO. Dude, a 2k Civic 5spd with intake and a muffler will bump you from 114hp to 250hp. You'll be runnin mid 13's no doubt! And you can hook that beast up with some cool-cat euro tails and a sweet racing muffler from ebay. Don't forget to get a stage III double decker wing for extra downforce. Your gonna need it with all the newfound power your gonna have.

Good luck!

you dumbass u can that much horsepower from a muffler and intake.

you get at least 12hp to the wheels w/ powered by honda/vtec/mugen decals and some nice plastic pep boys hub caps. dont forget about the adhesive purple tint! damn that shiznat is tight!!!

oh i think ive gotten ahead of myself...

dont forget about the neon glow under the chassis and mashimoto zx tires. and remember NOS, big ones!

at least a 10 second car if you dont granny shift and remember to double clutch

Nah man....I wasn't joking. Don't f#ck with Civics dude. They sound soo good with an exhaust. Some people say they sound girlie and farty and embarrassing, but I think it's aggressive. Screw that throaty, manly 5.0 V8 type exhaust note, it's gotta have a brain shattering buzzzz to be cool.

The inline 1.8L 4 from honda w/an ebay power muffler and super intake makes more torque then a 5.7L Z28 with longtube headers. The trick is the mega propellors and pixi-dust on the intake and muffler that adds around 200lb-ft of torque to the wheels.
