Guys,

One way to get through these winter months over quickly is to start thinking about what I want to get for my summer wheels+tires.

Can anyone suggest which wheels I should consider.

My size is either 17 x 7.5 or 17 x 8

My selection criteria includes:
1] no boat anchors
2] no soft alloy wheels
3] looking for wheels with the best bang for the buck but is strong and relatively light (under 23 lbs)

Any suggestions?

I'd go with the F*UCK YOUR CRITERIA WHEELS, and get a set of 20 inch chrome Lexani Crystals!

Try look at Konig wheels. they're not bad in the price range and they have some pretty nice rims

How much were you looking to spend for the whole package? That would help us in offering you advice in what wheel to buy.

I'd look at Konig's also. You can't get a 17"x8" wheel from $99 to mid $100's. Not only are they reasonably priced but they have some nice designs too.

konigs are good

i have 18 in monsoons and they weigh 23lbs on the dot. so i would think that 17 in rims would be a little lighter. and as far as rims go they are not that expensive.

Volks are lightweight. Borbet's look and perform great.

Definatley get at least 8 inch wide wheels and the stick that you get is unreal. It's truly point an click.
with that much rubber on the ground for this lightweight car you'll typically back oof the throttle before the wheels even start to break loose.
spend $200ish per wheel and you'll be pleased.

Guys,

Thanks to the responses

Since I live in Ontario, Canada, a US200 dollar becomes easily 300 Canadian bucks ouch

So best bang for buck is important. I noticed there is a lot choices for 17x7 out there and since I plan to go with 235/35/17s I guess it will have to be at least 17x7.5s

I was looking at http://www.discounttiredirect.com they seem to have some specials especially the Konig Caffiene for 99 dollars each.

Any experinces with Enkeis? Isn't the Enkei Fubuki used on the 2002 Sentra SE-R V specs?

Also, any Canadians out there with experiences buying from the US and had it shipped to Canada?

Thanks

TrueNorth.
