have a question about MEVI
Can you install a MEVI and a Injen CAI on the same car ? that would really dress up the old girl under the hood for anyone who cannot afford a super charger..

Re: have a question about MEVI
Yes, they have nothing to do with each other.

IT took me a total of 1.5 hours. Now if I can just get my RPM switch I will be happy :-)

Are you waiting for your switch?
Because I am. And that Harlan guy won't answer any of my emails. This is really irritating.
Anyway, we don't need the Harlan switch to install the MEVI?
If not, maybe I'll go install mine this weekend and wait for the switch also. Then hook up all the electrical stuff. Hopefully everything goes well.

You can hook it up to a regular electrical switch for now and engage the VI manually.

Expect 2-4 weeks on the RPM switch. He DOES NOT SEND YOU ANY CONFIRMATION about when he got your order (Paypal does that) and HE DOES NOT E-MAIL YOU when it's sent. Everything he ships is sent USPS Priority Mail.

after I installed my MEVI I got two codes. 1302 (map/baro) and I think 0304 (knock) I know why I got the map/baro, it was because a vac. line came loose. But why did I get the knock code? is the knock sensor influenced by vacuum? if not any other clues why the MEVI would cause this code? I reset it and it has not come back..................Yet.

IT's probably just like all the usual reason the knock sensor code comes on when another code is tripped.
I ordered mine like 3 weeks ago. If Dave B is right it should be here soon.
